The Minnesota Mullets Announce the Hiring of Dane Erickson as Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Assistant Coach

Minneapolis, Minn. - The Minnesota Mullets are very excited to announce the addition of Dane Erickson to our staff. Erickson will serve as the team's strength and Conditioning Specialist and as a role of the Assistant Coach.

"Today is a great day.  Coach Erickson is a tremendous fit for our organization and it's direction," said Head Coach Chris Walby.  "His addition will be one of the critical components to our success as a team."

Erickson, a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, owns and operates his training company, Elevat3 High Performance Training LLC and has worked with numerous youth sports camps and local associations in running their strength, conditioning and sports performance programs.

Over the past few seasons, Erickson has coached at the youth level and most recently coached for the MN Revolution Academy Midget AAA program.

As a player, Erickson began his career by playing in two Minnesota State High School Tournaments for Woodbury High School. He continued that success into junior hockey, playing a season in the NAHL before going on to play collegiately at Gustavus Adolphus College.  While at Gustavus Adolphus, Erickson won two MIAC Championships.

After obtaining his degree in English, Erickson played professionally for Huntsville in the SPHL and win a Commissioner’s Cup Championship with Watertown in the FHL.

“I’m really looking forward to joining the Mullets organization and working closely not only with Coach Walby but with players in this age-group," said Erickson.
